An IVA Can Wipe out Half of Your Debts
Debt management comes in many forms. There is the debt management plan, the IVA and the debt consolidation loan. All of these will work at getting you out of debt. The debt consolidation loan is a very low interest loan that pays off all your unsecured bank loans and credit cards. Since credit cards carry such a high interest it is good to get them out of the way. If you get IVA advice about an individual voluntary arrangement, you will find that it is a binding agreement that you make with your creditors. They will vote to accept or deny this arrangement. When they accept it you will pay them back a small portion of what is actually due them. You pay for about five years after which you will be debt free. The debt management plan is set up by a debt management company. They will work with your creditors to get the interest rates reduced. This will make your monthly payments much less.

I just got off of the phone with the debt collection agency and I think that I might be able to work out a deal with them after all. I didnt realize it, but I guess I owed a lot of money to that contractor who came out to work on my house. I meant to return his calls but things got so busy. So, he must have hired those debt collectors to talk to me and see if they could get the cash that he wanted. I don’t mind paying them but I think I might need to make some monthly installments on that amount. At least now I can talk to the debt collectors and not that contractor. That seems to make things a little less awkward since I don’t exactly owe them any money. I am never going to skip out on a bill like that again because I don’t want this collection agency to have to call me again.
